Our friend Joe Beshenkovsky hit NYC’s Union Square with FOUND’s Jason Bitner and spent an afternoon learning more about a favorite find of ours, “Social Club Apology.” What do you think Betty did to elicit a typed public apology?
A reader linked us to a great and unexpected clip from YouTube recently - a video for Tim Schreiber’s FOUND classic “Ass Thwomp”:
We loved the clip and now we wanna see more, so we’re making this into a contest. It’s pretty simple:
- make a video clip involving FOUND Magazine (use whatever you’d like)
- upload the video to YouTube
- send us an email (info@foundmagazine.com) linking us to your clip
- get it done by November 15th, 2006
Davy Rothbart did a hilarious 1-minute video spot for USA Network’s “Show Us Your Character” campaign. If you haven’t already seen it on TV, check it out here!
For our friends to the north, check out ZedTV on Tuesday nights, 11:25 pm. For the next 12 weeks, ZedTV will feature some of FOUND’s best finds from Canada! So check those TV listing for the right channel, people - support fine public broadcasting and enjoy some truly special Canadian finds!
We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
